Lambros Avgerinos
Founder • CEO • Master Dog Trainer • Detection & Working-Dog Specialist
Lambros was raised within an Auburn University veterinary-medicine research environment by veterinarian parents with PhDs in genetics. He has spent more than three decades immersed in canine behavior, pack dynamics, scent theory, and behavioral analysis, with the organization documenting more than 150,000 hours of experience working with dogs.
Rather than treating detection dogs as a marketing novelty, Lambros approaches canine detection as a discipline requiring training, repetition, observation, testing, handling, and real-world application. He has also built and operated other canine organizations, including Love My Dog Inc. and The Dog Coach, spanning service dogs, detection work, behavioral training, and working-dog programs. He is also identified by the organization as a founder of the International Council for Detection Dog Certifiers (ICDDC) and ICDDT, focused on detection-dog deployment and certification protocols.
Scientific background: Lambros also has a biochemistry background from Harvard, complementing his practical experience with canine behavior and scent work.
